The Freelance Workshops have been around since 1999; first as a series of online articles, then as a static website, now as a hybrid blog and refererence resource.

In that time I’ve gotten to know many of you through emails, letters, phone calls, shared projects and personal visits. You are a fabulously diverse group of designers, artists, musicians, business people, sales people, ad agency refugees, creative directors, marketers, managers, healers, writers, builders, bankers, financial planners, entrepreneurs, psychologists, inn keepers, students, engineers and cowboys — from every continent.

It is my sincere pleasure to know you.
